Qualifications

• NBRC-credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner/Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of work.
• Basic Life Support for healthcare providers (AHA) required.
• Advanced certification per facility/department.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery modes and equipment; conducts prescribed therapies.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and explains purpose and benefits.
• Performs diagnostic procedures per policy.
• Initiates and monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilators; applies critical care duties.
