Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking qualified Respiratory Therapists (RRT/CRT/RN) to educate, train, and monitor patients using ventilators, PAP therapy, and home oxygen in a home-care setting. You will assess needs and communicate with physicians to tailor care.

PRN per‑diem positions offer scheduling flexibility with pay per setup. Responsibilities include patient education, in‑home visits, and ongoing documentation to ensure high‑quality care across multiple devices and scenarios.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Credentials as a respiratory therapist (RRT/CRT) preferred depending on state licensure.
• Licensed in primary state of home office; may need licensure in neighboring states.

Responsibilities

• Educate, train, and monitor patients using ventilators and home respiratory equipment.
• Perform in-home visits and patient assessments per physician orders.
• Document all services and maintain patient records per policy.
• Provide patient education on equipment use and therapy benefits.
• Adjust ventilator settings according to assessments and policy.
• Participate in on-call phone consultations as required.
