Job summary

Rotech Healthcare seeks qualified Respiratory Therapists (RRT/CRT/RN) to educate, train and monitor patients using ventilators, PAP therapy and home oxygen. You will assess patient needs and report findings to physicians, delivering tailored care in patients' homes.

PRN positions allow you to create your own schedule by selecting the number of set-ups per week; pay ranges per set-up vary from $5 to $100. You may work evenings, weekends, and rural areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Credentials as a respiratory therapist (RRT/CRT) preferred but other medical credentials may be acceptable.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Educate, train and monitor patients using ventilators, PAP therapy, home oxygen and other respiratory equipment.
• Provide in-home visits and patient assessments per policy and physician orders.
• Document services provided and maintain patient records per policy and procedures.
• Adjust ventilator settings and support on-call phone consultations as required.
