Rotech Healthcare Inc. in Wyoming is seeking qualified Respiratory Therapists (RRT/CRT/RN) to educate, train and monitor patients using ventilators, PAP therapy, home oxygen and other respiratory equipment. You'll assess patient needs and communicate findings to the physician to ensure care tailored to each condition.

This PRN role offers per set-up pay and flexible scheduling. Candidates should have a high school diploma, RT/CRT/RRT credentials preferred, and be licensed in their state of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Credentials as a RT/RRT/CRT preferred but other medical credentials may be acceptable depending on state licensure laws.
• Must be licensed in primary state of home office and provide license copy.
• May be required to obtain license in neighboring states.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a complete listing of current respiratory patients.
• Provide initial and ongoing phone contacts with all respiratory patients.
• Conduct in-home visits to patients per policy and procedure.
• Assess patients and communicate findings to the physician.
• Educate patients on equipment use, maintenance and therapy benefits.
• Set up and monitor ventilators and high-tech respiratory equipment.
• Maintain documentation of services and on-call responsibilities.
• Adjust ventilator settings per policy and patient needs.
• Support orientation and training of other personnel.
