Bakersfield Post Acute is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our PRN per diem rehabilitation team at our Bakersfield, California facility. The PTA provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and independence for our residents.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, communicating with the rehab team, and educating residents and families.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active California PTA license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated clinical competence.

Mansioni

• Treat patients under the supervision of the licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans to restore mobility and function.
• Document daily notes and progress per standards.
• Communicate patient progress with rehab and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in care conferences as needed.
