Job summary

Assured Home Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant in Washington. You will perform treatment, provide exercise instruction, and educate patients within the established plan of care to enhance well-being.

Primary responsibilities include following state laws, guiding active and passive exercises, and coordinating care with the healthcare team while meeting the needs of diverse patients and families.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice physical therapy in Washington state.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance or reliable transportation.
• Weekend rotation availability required.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and the plan of care as defined by the supervising PT.
• Instruct and assist patients with active and passive exercises, gait, ADL, and mobility training.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and care team.
• Educate patients, families, and other caregivers on therapy activities within scope.
