UnitedHealth Group seeks a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to perform treatment and provide exercise instruction within a home care plan of care. You will educate patients and families, coordinate with the healthcare team, and adapt to diverse home environments while complying with state laws and supervision by a PT.

Responsibilities include gait training, ADL support, and ensuring patient safety, with weekend rotation and current licensure as a PT assistant.

Formación

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education per the plan of care.
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADLs, and safety.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers in therapy within the PT assistant scope.
• Function in home settings regardless of age, race, creed, gender, disability, or financial condition.
