• Assists the Physical Therapist in evaluating treatment effectiveness and adjusts plans to achieve clinical outcomes.
• Implements interventions focusing on posture, balance, locomotion, strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination.
• Administers treatment methods under supervision, ensuring alignment with current PT practices.
• Monitors patient progress and reports responses to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educates patients on therapeutic exercises and self-management strategies to promote recovery.
• Ensures documentation of care, discharge recommendations, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, including discharge planning and ongoing therapy recommendations.
• Maintains infection control and safety protocols to keep patients and staff safe.
