Qualifications

• 0-1 years of PTA experience in physical therapy setting is required.
• PTA license in the state of employment is required.
• BCLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in evaluating treatment effectiveness and adjust plans.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions focusing on posture, balance, locomotion, strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, pain management, and daily activities.
• Administer treatments under supervision to align with current PT practices.
• Monitor patient progress and report results to supervising PT.
• Educate patients on exercises and self-management for recovery.
• Tailor treatments to patient age, development, culture, and goals.
• Document care clearly and accurately per policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in discharge planning.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.
