Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support the physical therapy team in helping residents recover and rehabilitate after illness or surgery, focusing on restoring mobility, strength, and independence.

Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will document services, ensure adherence to care plans, and help develop individualized therapy programs to restore function and balance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state, or proof of license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide support care for residents in short-term rehabilitation.
• Assist in delivering quality patient care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Document all services for accurate billing of therapy services.
• Ensure patient care follows the Plan of Care and organizational guidelines.
• Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, develop comprehensive plans of care and implement individualized therapy programs.
• Refer to other disciplines as needed under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.
