We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: PICU Registered Nurse in Newark, NJ.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: BLS, PALS
• Required Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of blood & blood products, Anti-Seizure Medications, Assist/manage intubation, BiPAP/CPAP management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Insulin administration, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, Management of Chest Tubes, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, PICU, End‑Tidal CO2 monitoring, Acute/chronic renal failure, Antiarrhythmics, Assist with lumbar puncture, Care/maintenance of acute airway, Continuous Sedation, Hydrocephalus/VP shunt, Infection control/PPE, Management of gastric tubes, NG tube insertion/ management, Peritoneal dialysis/CAPD, Pre/Post Hemodialysis, Tracheostomy care, Urinary catheter insertion/management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, TPN/Lipids, Use of Broselow system
