We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: NICU Registered Nurse in Newark, NJ.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS


• Required Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Anti-Seizure Medications, Blood glucose monitoring, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Hyperbilirubinemia, Insulin administration, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Neonatal Dosage Calculations, Neonates 29-34 weeks, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Patient/family teaching, Phlebotomy, Antibiotics/Antivirals, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Developmental Care, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Neonates > 34 weeks, NICU III, Phototherapy, Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Respiratory distress syndrome, Sepsis Work Up, Steroids, Starting and maintaining IVs, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring
