We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: NICU Registered Nurse in Newark, NJ.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: PALS, BLS, NRP
• Required Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Antibiotics/Antivirals, Blood glucose monitoring, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Developmental Care, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Hyperbilirubinemia, Insulin administration, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Neonatal Dosage Calculations, Neonates > 34 weeks, NICU III, Patient/family teaching, Phlebotomy, Phototherapy, Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Anti-Seizure Medications, Neonates 29-34 weeks, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Respiratory distress syndrome, Sepsis Work Up, Starting and maintaining IVs, Steroids, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring
