We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: PICU Registered Nurse in Newark, NJ.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: BLS, PALS
• Required Skills: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Accessing/Managing Ports, Acute/chronic renal failure, Administration of blood & blood products, Anti-Seizure Medications, Antiarrhythmics, Assist with lumbar puncture, BiPAP/CPAP management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Care/maintenance of acute airway, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Continuous Sedation, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Hydrocephalus/VP shunt, Infection control/PPE, Insulin administration, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Management of Chest Tubes, Management of gastric tubes, NG tube insertion/ management, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Peritoneal dialysis/CAPD, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, PICU, Pre/Post Hemodialysis, Assist/manage intubation, IV vasopressors, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, TPN/Lipids, Tracheostomy care, Urinary catheter insertion/management, Use of Broselow system
