Responsibilities

Create the initial electronic health record foundation for patient care and billing.
Check in and register patients; collect demographics, insurance info, and co-pays.
Explain insurance basics and refer patients to Financial Advocates as needed.
Maintain HIPAA privacy and confidentiality in all interactions.
Schedule appointments and coordinate test preparations and arrival instructions.
Provide welcoming, professional service to patients and visitors; handle calls and directions.
Monitor electronic health record work queues per department process.
