RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Per Diem OR Technician to join the Operating Room team at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ. The role supports surgical teams by preparing rooms, handling instruments, and ensuring aseptic technique during procedures.

Ideal candidates hold a CST credential with BLS on file, and will work day shifts in a fast-paced perioperative setting, contributing to safe, efficient patient care.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential required.
• BLS certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile supplies and instruments are ready for scheduled procedures.
• Assist in positioning, prepping, and draping patients for surgeries and maintain aseptic technique.
• Collaborate with perioperative team to provide patient explanations and support during procedures.
• Support instrument reprocessing, sterilization, and inventory management for daily cases.
• Participate in on-call coverage as required by the department.
