Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a Registered Nurse for per-diem operating room coverage at the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The RN will perform pre-surgical assessments, provide patient education prior to admission, and coordinate pre-surgical clearances and diagnostics.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the care team, maintaining a positive demeanor, ensuring supplies and equipment are ready, documenting care, and participating in staff committees as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current State licensure and CPR, ACLS and PALS accreditation are required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the health care team to provide optimal care during the surgical experience.
• Educate patients during perioperative period.
• Ensure supplies, instruments and equipment are available and functioning for procedures.
• Document care accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in ongoing education to meet state requirements.
