Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand is seeking a Registered Nurse for PreOp and PACU (Per Diem PRN) at an on-site Ambulatory Surgical Center. Schedule: availability one to two days per week (Mon-Fri); no call requirements.

The RN provides care per physician orders, supervises staff, and upholds center policies. Requirements include RN licensure in the state, CPR and ACLS; PALS within 90 days of hire; 1 year pre-op/intra-op/post-op care, and 2 years in Medical/Surgical/ED/ICU preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Has a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State.
• Current CPR certification and current ACLS certification; PALS within 90 days of hire.
• One year in pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative surgical patient care.
• Two years of experience in Medical/Surgical, ED, and/or ICU nursing preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional information and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in an Ambulatory Surgical Center setting.
• Oversee and guide staff under supervision.
• Support the Center's philosophy and mission statement.
• Ensure care per physician orders and center policies.
