Surgical Care Affiliates, LLC in the United States is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PreOp PACU to float between the pre-operative and post-operative departments. Per Diem employees are required to provide 4 days of availability per month.

You will promote the mission, assess patient status, interpret monitors, apply perioperative care plans, manage recovery from anesthesia, and coordinate hand-offs with the care team, while complying with facility policies and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• 1 year of Pre Operative or PACU experience.
• Medical/surgical nursing experience is preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice nursing.
• Successful completion of BLS or BCLS within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification if pediatric care is included in scope.

Responsabilités

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status at intervals per policies.
• Interpret information from noninvasive and invasive monitors.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care.
• Implement the plan including recovery from anesthesia management.
• Provide hand-off report to teammates with pertinent patient information.

Formation

Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing

PreOperative or PACU experience

Medical/Surgical nursing experience

Current state licensure

BLS or BCLS within 90 days

ACLS within 90 days

PALS if pediatric care included
