Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform pre-surgical nursing assessments and educate patients prior to ambulatory surgery admission. The RN will assess patient care needs, obtain necessary clearances, and communicate the plan of care to the ASC team.

The role involves collaborating with the health care team, ensuring proper supplies and equipment, and maintaining confidentiality while upholding professional standards in a fast-paced ambulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State licensure and CPR, ACLS and BLS accreditation.
• Two years of OR, Intensive Care or Emergency Room experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-surgical nursing assessments and provide education to patients prior to admission.
• Collaborate with health care team to ensure optimal patient care throughout surgical experience.
• Maintain a friendly, positive, caring attitude with patients, physicians and staff.
