Qualifications

• Experience in same-day surgery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate room schedules and patient arrivals in the Surgical Suite.
• Communicate with families to address concerns and ensure smooth procedures.
• Supervise and assist operative teams, ensuring aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
• Monitor and interpret patient signs during local anesthesia and report changes.
• Maintain sterile instruments and prepare the OR between procedures.
• Handle specimens properly and ensure equipment maintenance.
• Assist in cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing instruments as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to safeguard patient safety.

Qualifications & Skills:

Must be a graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Nursing, with preferred experience in same-day surgery. Strong communication, supervision, and adherence to safety standards are essential. The role involves working in a clinical environment, following all organizational policies and procedures.
