Job summary

Regent Surgical Health is seeking a Per Diem PreOp/PACU RN to deliver comprehensive perioperative care under Clinical Leadership. You will prep patients for surgery, monitor status pre- and post‑op, manage pain, and ensure safe discharge planning in collaboration with the surgical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in appropriate State.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' health, prepare for surgery, and assess airway and surgical site.
• Explain procedures to patient and family, obtain informed consent.
• Prepare site, verify consents, and follow safety protocols.
• Conduct venipuncture and blood draws as needed.
• Monitor vital signs postoperatively and manage pain.
• Communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and team.
• Discharge planning and patient/family instruction.
• Ensure supplies and medications are ready; document care accurately.
