This 20-hour-per-week onsite position requires lifting up to 40-50 lbs, strong communication with patients and the care team, and PA licensure upon hire with BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• PA licensure required upon hire; BLS certification preferred.
• Prior clinical experiences and sound clinical reasoning are essential.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families and co-workers clearly.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements OT plans of care to restore function and prevent disability.
• Implements individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Provides OT treatment aligned with patient needs and evaluations.
• Performs reassessments and updates plans as needed.
• Communicates patient progress and limitations to the supervisor and team.
• Documents care per policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
