Job summary

1100 Endeavor Health Clinical Operations is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery and postpartum at Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals. Night shifts 2300-0730 and 1900-0730; weekend/holiday requirements per level agreement; per diem hours per schedule.

Requires IL RN licensure, NLN-accredited program, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP. Two years acute care experience in L&D/PP/ISCU preferred; shift and holiday incentives offered.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing licensure required.
• NLN-accredited nursing program required; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/ ACLS/ PALS / NRP certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Minimum two years of recent acute care experience in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum/ISCU.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective nursing care for labor/delivery and postpartum patients.
• Use the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Guide assigned unlicensed personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team for optimal outcomes and continuity.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.
