Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Duluth, MN. The role offers per diem, 32 hours per month, with clinic hours on Monday–Friday in a reproductive health program.

The position pays $20–$25/hour for MA and $24–$28/hour for LPN, depending on experience. Benefits include PTO, ESST, 403(b) retirement, and discounts. Must have MA diploma/AA or LPN license and BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of MA diploma/Associate in Medical Assisting or equivalent
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Minnesota LPN license (for LPN track)

Responsibilities

• Interview and screen patients and document history in EMR
• Perform routine labs and venipuncture as needed
• Provide contraceptive supplies and patient education
• Assist clinicians and support clinic operations
• Maintain inventory and ensure HIPAA compliance
