Qualifications

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certificate for healthcare providers.
• Completion of a Medical Assisting diploma program or an Associate degree in Medical Assisting.
• EMT/Paramedic licensure or related experience at PPNCS.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Active LPN License in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Interview and screen patients; document in EMR; prepare patients for examinations/procedures.
• Perform routine labs including venipuncture; communicate results and follow up.
• Provide contraceptive education and unbiased information on options for pregnancy and abortion.
• Assist clinicians; monitor patient vitals; support clinic operations and inventory.

6+ months Health Center experience (PPNCS)
