Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, Nevada is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, plan, direct and administer OT treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician to restore function and prevent disability.

The ideal candidate will hold current state licensure in Occupational Therapy, have 3+ years of experience, and possess current BCLS certification.

Formación

• Current state licensure for Occupational Therapy.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in Occupational Therapy.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Observes and evaluates treatment effect; recommends changes to physician as needed.
• Performs an appropriate assessment on each patient and reassesses as per policy.
• Able to assess patient pain and coordinate intervention with the physician.
• Formulates a teaching plan based on learning needs and evaluates effectiveness; family is involved.
