Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking a CNA Hospice Aide on a per diem basis to provide compassionate end-of-life care. The role covers the Somerset and Worcester areas with orientation at the Leominster care center.

You will work with the hospice team to deliver respectful, patient-centered care in alignment with the care plan. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documentation, safety, and supporting patients and families.

Qualifikationen

• Current state certification as a nurse assistant (CNA) per state requirements.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Assists with daily living activities and mobility.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and environmental services as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
