Amedisys, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a CNA Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support for their families during end-of-life care. This role focuses on assisting patients with daily living activities while promoting comfort, dignity, and emotional well-being.

Working with the hospice care team, you will help ensure patients receive respectful, individualized care in alignment with the care plan.

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification/registration as per state requirements.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsabilités

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Assists with daily living activities and promotes comfort, dignity.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Observes and documents changes in patient's status for nurse review.
• Follows written instructions from the nurse to deliver care.
• Assists with prescribed exercises and basic tests as directed.
