Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Per diem CNA Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on end-of-life care in patients’ homes. You will support daily living activities, promote comfort and dignity, and work closely with the hospice care team.

Requirements include CNA certification, CPR, and a valid driver’s license. Hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $22.60, with a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification as per state requirements.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients
• Assists with daily living activities and mobility
• Plans and assists with meals and feeding

• Observes and reports changes to the nurse in charge
