Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will work with doctors to provide gold-standard, compassionate care across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential in the state where VEG practice is located; VTS in ECC/medicine a plus.
• 1+ year experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Handle emergencies and assist doctors and team.
• Assist with IVs, CRIs, blood products, and monitoring.
• Communicate with team and help shape care plans.
