Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is seeking a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency team. You will work alongside doctors and techs handling triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and ICU nursing in a fast-paced, compassionate setting.

We welcome skilled technicians with AVMA-accredited training, CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credentials, and 1+ year of emergency or specialty experience. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology strongly preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician in state of practice (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) required; VTS in ECC/IM/anesthesia is a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline emergency nursing care from triage to discharge.
• Assist doctors with diagnostics, treatments, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Handle medications, IVs, CRIs, transfusions, and advanced techniques.
• Communicate effectively with the team to maintain smooth patient flow.
