Job summary

VEG for Pets in Cary, NC is seeking a Per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency team. You'll handle a wide range of cases, from triage to critical care, working with doctors to deliver compassionate, gold-standard care for pets and their families.

Qualifications

• This role requires an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program.
• Associates or higher in veterinary technology preferred; CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credentials encouraged.
• 1+ year in veterinary technician, emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia and monitoring.
