Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: EMT-Advanced, EMT-Basic, Medical Assistant or CNA; BLS required or within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: 6+ months as an Emergency Department Technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist department with stocking, results retrieval, and patient tracking.
• Under RN guidance, perform basic patient care: vital signs, pulse oximetry, EKG, phlebotomy and other simple procedures.
• Orient new team members and students and provide unit education.
