Job summary

MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization in Belfast, ME seeks an Emergency Department Technician II/CNA to support the health care team under RN guidance. The role involves patient care tasks (vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy) and unit activities such as stocking and patient tracking.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of ED technician experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Licenses/certifications: EMT-Advanced, EMT-Basic, Medical Assistant, or CNA certification; BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist ED team with patient care under RN guidance, including vital signs, pulse oximetry, EKG, phlebotomy.
• Assist with stocking, results retrieval, and patient tracking.
• Orient new team members and students; provide educational offerings.
