BrightStar Care Karing Hent, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem In-Home Caregiver to provide personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and light housekeeping for clients in their homes. Shifts are 12-hour day shifts as needed, with potential for additional hours.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and committed to helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required, along with a negative TB test or cleared chest

• Experience providing care in home health or similar setting.
• Compassionate, patient and caring nature.
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to enhance clients’ lives.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide physical assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor changes in health, behavior, and needs; report to RN Case Manager.

We are seeking a Per Diem In-Home Caregiver to work 12-hour day shifts as needed providing personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping for clients in their homes. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and committed to helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Additional shifts may be available for those interested in picking up extra hours.

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements:

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
