BrightStar Care Karing Hent, Inc. is seeking flexible and compassionate Per Diem/On-Call Caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care to individuals who need dependable support and personalized attention in the comfort of their own homes.

This role is ideal for caregivers seeking schedule flexibility, with the potential for additional hours as client needs grow, while delivering dignity-centered, compassionate care and supporting clients with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care in hands-on environments (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital).
• Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsabilités

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance clients’ lives.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal prep, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, ambulation).
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior and needs.
• Communicate with RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements:

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
