BrightStar Care in Duluth is seeking a reliable on-call CNA to support clients at home. This per diem role offers about 10 hours weekly with potential for more, ideal for adding to a current schedule or easing back into caregiving.

Responsibilities include daily routines, light housekeeping, meals, errands, and companionship. Applicants should be dependable with a caring demeanor, possess a valid driver’s license with insurance, and be available two weekend days per month.

• Assist with daily activities: meals, light housekeeping, errands.
• Provide physical assistance: bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings, provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Coordinate with RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Per Diem/ On Call CNA

BrightStar Care is looking for a reliable and compassionate on call caregiver to assist clients in their homes, as we grow our clientele in the Duluth area. This role offers around 10 hours per week with the opportunity for more hours in the future. This position is ideal for someone interested in adding to their current schedule or gradually returning to caregiving. Responsibilities may include helping with daily routines, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and offering companionship. • Premium Short Shift Pay:We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements:

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
