Job summary
Lilly is seeking a passionate Mixed Modality (Peptide Downstream) Scientist to help transfer peptide downstream processes from development to pilot plant operations, enabling early-phase cGMP manufacturing for grams to kilogram scale. You will evaluate purification strategies and ensure plant readiness with RP chromatography, TFF, and lyophilization.
Candidates should have 3+ years in peptide purification/manufacturing, strong analytical skills in HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, and NMR, and eligibility to
Qualifications
- BS/MS in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in peptide purification and/or manufacturing.
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; no visa sponsorship provided.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and facilitate transfer of peptide downstream processes from development to pilot plant operations.
- Perform peptide purification and isolation; assess purification methods.
- Operate and troubleshoot peptide downstream equipment (e.g., TFF, RP chromatography, lyophilization).
- Document procedures, batch records, and technical transfers; support CAPAs and deviations.
