Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in synthesis peptide purification and/or manufacturing environments involving synthetic peptide API or drug substance.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and facilitate transfer of peptide downstream manufacturing processes from development labs to pilot plant operations.
• Perform peptide purification and isolation and assess purification methods.
• Familiar with peptide downstream procedures such as reverse-phase chromatography, TFF, lyophilization, and precipitation & drying.
• Document technical packages/technical transfers and demonstrate plant readiness.
• Maintain detailed lab notebooks and prepare deviation and batch records.
• Collaborate across teams to support process improvements and CAPAs.
