Job summary

Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking an IT Research Business Systems Analyst (PeopleSoft Analyst) for a hybrid role on the West Coast. Occasional on-site days are required, with remote candidates considered.

The incumbent will bridge users and developers, support RAS/AR modules, and analyze data to drive system improvements. Candidates should have 5+ years in enterprise software support, strong SQL/data analysis skills, and experience with SDLC and requirements gathering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of functional/technical support with enterprise software such as PeopleSoft Grants, Contracts, Projects, Billing, and AR modules.
• Strong knowledge of database table structures, functions, integration, and design components; high proficiency in SQL and data extraction/analysis.
• Experience in a large, complex organization with accounting systems; knowledge of change management for enterprise software.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support and expertise for Research Administration Systems (RAS), AR and related integrations.
• Bridge between end users and technical development resources.
• Deliver daily end-user support and triage complex system issues using incident management and ticketing procedures.
• Conduct extensive data analysis and system integrity reviews.
• Gather and document operational requirements from end users and business stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications for coordination with development teams.
• Execute SDLC activities covering design, documentation, fixes, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Create training materials and lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex business or systems issues.
