Job summary

Amerit Consulting is seeking a PeopleSoft Functional Business Analyst for a California medical center client. This hybrid role is a 4-month assignment with possible extension and requires US work authorization.

You will support Grants, Projects, AR, Billing, and GL modules, acting as the bridge between end users and developers. The candidate should have 5+ years of PeopleSoft experience, strong SQL skills, and proven ability to document requirements and design functional specs within the SDLC

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in function/technical support of enterprise software, such as PeopleSoft Grants, Contracts, Projects, Billing and AR modules.
• Knowledge of database table structures, functions, processes, integration and design components. High proficiency in SQL, query creation, data extraction/organization and analysis.
• 5+ years of experience in budget, size, complexity, scope of operation, and accounting systems.
• Advanced knowledge and utilization of application design, functional/technical documentation requirements, and testing methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, synthesize, and prioritize highly complex end-user requirements. Able to effectively translate, summarize, and present requirements for technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working with developers (both in-house and third party vendors).
• Demonstrated understanding of technical change management procedures in supporting enterprise software. 5 or more years of directly related experience; and/or equivalent experience/training.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential functional support and expertise for Research Administration Systems (RAS), AR and related integrations or connected business processes.
• Serve as bridge between end-users and technical development resources.
• Manage SDLC activities: requirements, analysis, design, testing, implementation, documentation.
• Perform incident management, data analysis and system integrity reviews.
• Create training materials for system support and lead cross-functional teams to solve complex issues.
• Support and maintain PeopleSoft modules for Grants, Contracts, Projects, Billing, AR and General Ledger; collaborate with stakeholders.
