Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support Research Administration and financial applications in a hybrid role based in San Francisco. You will bridge business users and technical teams, troubleshoot complex system issues, and drive requirements, documentation, testing, and implementations.

Key focus areas include Oracle Cloud with Grants, Projects, and AR, plus PeopleSoft modules for Grants, Contracts, Projects, Billing, AR, AP and GL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise Business Systems Analyst / functional support experience.
• Oracle Cloud functional experience with Grants, Projects, AR.
• Strong SQL skills and data extraction capabilities.
• Experience gathering complex requirements and translating them into functional specifications for developers/technical teams

Job description

• Hybrid- 3 days per week in San Fransico preference, may be open to remote

Top Must-Haves

• 5+ years of enterprise Business Systems Analyst / functional application support experience
• Oracle Cloud functional experience with Grants, Projects, and Accounts Receivable (AR), specifically implementation and support
• Strong financial/research systems background, ideally including PeopleSoft Grants, Contracts, Projects, Billing, and AR
• Strong SQL skills, including queries, data extraction, analysis, and understanding database table structures/integrations
• Experience gathering complex business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for developers/technical teams

What They'll Be Doing

Support and expertise covers a wide-array of applications/services involving a core of PeopleSoft modules for Grants, Contracts, Projects, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger, as well as related applications/integrations that support research and functionalities applied to other areas as well (e.g. Student AR and Sundry Billing). Incumbent is responsible for creating training materials for system support and change management, and will collaborate on and often lead cross-functional teams to solve highly complex business or systems issues.

Compensation:

$56/hr to $68/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
