Job summary

Sierra-Cedar seeks a PeopleSoft HCM Functional Lead - Time and Labor to guide client deployments and serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Time and Labor. You will oversee configurations, lead projects, and coordinate with client teams across phases from planning through testing.

The role requires deep PeopleSoft Time and Labor expertise, strong consulting skills, and willingness to travel nationwide to client sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years PeopleSoft experience
• Experience with PeopleSoft Time & Labor
• Upgrade and implementation experience
• Ability to work on all project phases
• Solid understanding of time reporting, including reported time, scheduled time and exceptions
• Solid understanding of Time Reporting Codes, Workgroups, Taskgroups and Rules
• Understands integration of Time & Labor with PeopleSoft Payroll
• Leadership: ability to manage project scope and client expectations
• Consulting: clear and effective communication, concise status reports

Responsibilities

• Provide PeopleSoft Time and Labor functional consulting as SME and lead clients through the SDLC
• Lead all project phases for Time and Labor: fit/gap, configuration, testing
• Assist clients in integrating Time and Labor with current business environments and advise on best practices
• Advise clients on options, risks, and impacts on other processes or systems
• Configure the Time and Labor system to meet each client’s unique requirements
• Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
• Report progress to clients and project managers
• Continuously seek ways to improve delivery methodologies and share knowledge

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide PeopleSoft functional consulting services by acting as PeopleSoft Time and Labor subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire systems development lifecycle
• Work on all project phases forPeopleSoft Time and Labor, including fit/gap, configuration, and testing
• Assist clients in fully integrating the PeopleSoft Time and Labor system into their current business environments and provide input on best practices
• Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
• Configure the PeopleSoft Time and Labor system to meet each client’s unique business requirements
• Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
• Report progress to clients and project managers
• Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering PeopleSoft Time and Labor solutions
• Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology
• Minimum of five years PeopleSoft experience
• Experience with PeopleSoft version 9.2
• Proven experience with PeopleSoft Time & Labor with additional experience in Payroll a plus
• Upgrade and implementation experience

• Solid understanding of Time Reporting Codes, Workgroups, Taskgroups and Rules
