Job summary

Sierra-Cedar is seeking a motivated and experienced PeopleSoft Absence Management Functional Lead. This role requires 100% travel and projects are conducted on-site at client locations nationwide, with a typical week of four 10-hour days.

You will lead functional consulting for PeopleSoft Absence Management and guide clients through the full SDLC, collaborating with teams across project phases to ensure success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years PeopleSoft experience.
• PeopleSoft 9.2 experience.
• Upgrade and implementation experience.
• Ability to work on all project phases: Project Preview, Fit/Gap Analysis, Setup and Testing.
• Solid experience with PeopleSoft Absence Management implementations.
• Solid understanding of all processes and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide PeopleSoft Absence Management functional consulting as SME and lead clients through the SDLC.
• Work on fit/gap, configuration, and testing across project phases.
• Assist clients in integrating the PeopleSoft Absence Management system into their business environments and provide input on best practices.
• Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems.
• Configure the PeopleSoft Absence Management system to meet each client’s unique business requirements.
• Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner; report progress to clients and project managers.
• Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering PeopleSoft Absence Management solutions.
• Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology.
