Job summary

Foundry Robotics is seeking an experienced People Operations lead to own HRIS, payroll, benefits, leave, immigration, and multi-state compliance for salaried staff and hourly shop-floor workers. You will run Rippling as the system of record, implement automated onboarding/offboarding, oversight of provisioning and reporting, and drive a data-driven, AI-enabled HR function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in People Operations, including real experience supporting hourly or shift-based workforce.
• Hands-on Rippling experience: workflows, permissions, reporting, integrations.
• Data-driven by instinct; build dashboards and analyze attrition, retention, span of control.
• AI-enabled; demonstrate what automation saved and which processes were automated.
• High discretion with comp data, performance records, investigations, departures.
• Understand multi-state employment, wage/hour, and compliance in a production environment.
• American Citizen Required.

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure - onboarding, HRIS, payroll and benefits, leave, immigration, and multi-state compliance.
• Run Rippling as the system of record: workflows, approvals, onboarding/offboarding, provisioning, reporting.
• Automate recurring work; use AI tools for drafting, analysis, policy summarization, and triage.
• Own people data end to end: headcount, attrition by manager, span of control.
• Quantify costs of a bad hire and inform hiring decisions.
