Job summary

Cohere is hiring a People Systems and Automation Manager to own and automate our People processes across Rippling and related tooling. You will redesign workflows, implement end-to-end automations, and own the employee lifecycle from hire to exit, reducing manual work and errors.

You will work within the HR Operations team during a Rippling implementation, with significant influence as the function scales and matures for audit and compliance needs.

Qualifications

• Experience building People Ops/HR systems at fast-growing companies.
• Experience with HRIS implementations or migrations.
• Experience with triggers, conditions, integrations and failure modes.
• Strong written communication and documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Design and design the processes, then automate them across HRIS and related tooling.
• Own the employee lifecycle end to end, from joiners to leavers.
• Reduce manual handling and human error by implementing automated workflows.
• Document SOPs and runbooks that are actually used by teams.
