Job summary

Aurora in Mountain View, CA seeks a People Operations Analyst to optimize Workday processes and drive data accuracy across HRIS. You will partner with the People team and IT to ensure scalable, audit-ready workflows.

You will lead UAT for Workday releases, support compliance reporting, and champion AI-enabled improvements while mentoring teammates on data management and mass data loads. This role offers hybrid work and a growth-focused culture driving global HR ops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in HR Operations, HRIS, or People Systems roles with strong Workday experience.
• Experience executing mass data changes (eg EIBs) and maintaining high standards of data accuracy.
• Experience leading system testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and defect management for system updates or process changes.
• Strong understanding of HR data, workflows, and lifecycle processes, with the ability to identify issues and implement scalable solutions.
• Experience leveraging digital tools and AI assistants to improve efficiency, documentation, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• HRIS & Process Optimization: Own and optimize Workday processes and structures (e.g. supervisory orgs, positions, requisitions, etc), leveraging deep knowledge of system architecture
• Testing & Compliance: Lead system testing (UAT) for Workday releases, enhancements, and business process updates, including test planning, execution, and defect management
• Continuous Improvement & AI Enablement: Drive operational improvements by identifying high-risk, manual, or error-prone workflows and implementing standardized, automated, or AI-enabled solutions
• Document workflows, train AI agents, and develop self-service tools to improve employee and manager experience
• Train and upskill team members on business processes, Workday configuration, data management, testing, and mass data loads (EIBs)
