Job summary

Power Design Inc. is seeking a People Business Partner to support our St. Petersburg, FL headquarters and national operations. You will partner with leaders to manage employee relations, performance coaching, and retention initiatives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

You’ll resolve concerns with fairness, guide managers through conversations, ensure compliance with employment laws, and contribute to a PlusONE experience for every team member.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
• SPHR or PHR certification is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of HR experience in roles such as HR Business Partner or Employee Relations Specialist.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and experience handling investigations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a go-to resource for employee relations matters and inquiries.
• Counsel on job-related conflicts, resolve disputes, and address performance concerns.
• Conduct objective employee investigations and document findings and resolutions.
• Review and approve progressive disciplinary notices and termination requests.
