Job summary

Team Select Home Care is seeking a People Services Specialist to conduct onboarding and orientation, maintain employee files, and support HR operations. You will report to the Director of Operations and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure compliance and smooth processes.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, documentation, and efficient work planning in a healthcare-oriented company. Prior HR experience and HIPAA familiarity are valued for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic HR, HIPAA and regulatory requirements of the company.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Able to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees and/ or organizations.

Responsibilities

• Performs HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, and employment tasks as assigned.
• Assists DOO/department in carrying out HR programs and procedures for all employees.
• Facilitates new hire onboarding and orientation program.
• Maintains HRIS records and generates reports as needed.
• Assists/background screening and credential verifications as necessary.
• Coordinates performance reviews for all employees.
• Coordinates equipment/device needs including setup and orientation.
